We all know salads are one of the best ways to get a lot of nutrients into your body. Did you also know salads have an amazing satiety factor in that they’re full of ‘crunch’! Our body often craves a crunchy meal to nosh on. This can lead us to poor choices like chips or boring snacks like endless raw carrot sticks. This Chinese Chicken Salad is both quick to prep and off the charts with flavor and crunch.



Romaine Lettuce (chopped)

Fresh Cilantro (chopped)

Green Onions/Scallions (sliced)

Slivered Almonds (raw and unsalted is best)

Mandarin Oranges (jarred, canned, or cutie oranges diced up)

Sesame Seeds (white or black, to jazz it up)

Avocado (diced)

1-2 Tablespoons of Toasted Sesame Oil or Tessemae’s Soy Ginger Dressing



Toss all your greens (Romaine, Cilantro, and Scallions). Top with the remaining ingredients and drizzle with your dressing.

If you would like to prep this ahead of time, all the greens can be stored together in an airtight container with a folded, dry, paper towel placed inside. Store all the remaining ingredients separately and toss when you’re ready to serve it
